Distinguishing Features: A well-toned body and her belted packs found around her that carries medical equipment and supplies. Carries around a 7 foot sythe that his chained to her wrist. Generally rides on the shoulders of a tank and controls it.

Personality: She seems very cold and disconnected from everyone around her, however she is very caring and loving. It takes her awhile to warm up to new people but once she does she can be very motherly. She seems like she isn’t paying attention and is just staring aimlessly at people, however she is studying them and committing them to memory, she knows all her students and faculty by their name due to their files. She’s a very serious business teacher when it comes to class, you start your work and don’t stop until you finish. She will not stand for rule breaking and will punish the students, assistants, and teachers who happen to break them. Is brutally honest and emotionless when telling the truth or saying what she thinks to someone. Very gentle and caring, has always enjoyed and appreciated the medical field. Insists on her students passing will not stand for failure and laziness. Seems fearless and untouchable however this is just a front. She can become quite OFF when sleep deprived. She can have violent angry outbursts and can be over protective of those she really cares for.
Character History: As a child she discovered her love for helping people, always tried to keep people safe and happy. This attitude changed however when her father and mother got a divorce when she was about ten. He walked out on Althea and her mother after Althea had left for school. He never told her about the affair he had been having with another woman but when her mother found out they ended the marriage right away. Her father was the reason for her love for helping people as he was an ER Surgeon and saved many lives, when he left she lost that people pleasing aspect and became very calculated as her mom was a high ranking military officer and raised her under such tendencies. In high school she rarely hung out with people and only focused on her studies that pertained to the human body. She excelled in Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy/Physiology, Emergency Response, and various Mathematic classes. She always took Advanced Placement and Honors classes to escape from the normal kids as she felt they held her back and only concerned themselves with petty bullshit. She excelled all her AP tests and received 32 college credits from them. When she turned 18 she immediately joined the Navy as a Surgeon. Her mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer when Althea was 20 almost 21 and died within the 6 months of being diagnosed. Her mother died when Althea was 21. She went to Baylor the highest ranking school for medicine and got her Doctorates, when she left college she was 24. She was immediately stationed in a war zone and preformed on the wounded and dying, until they sent her back to the States after she completed her 24 month tour. When she returned to the states she practiced her skills as a Base Surgeon, she was 27 when the outbreak started, the undead ravaged her base and killed most of her squadron meaning all of her closest friends and all she had ever known. They were working on a man who needed a triple by pass surgery when a frantic nurse had stormed in saying on of the patients had bitten her and before they knew they were over run with the undead. They all told her to leave and so she did, she ran as fast as she could. Didn’t waste time to start a school dedicated to training and informing people to help the human race survive.

- She left the academy to train and get stronger so she could protect everyone. In which she ran across a group or weapon merchants. She commanded them to train her, a tall extremely muscular man came up to her and glared her down. Then he taught her the old fashioned way. RESPECT HIM. In order to train her they had to find the best weapon for her, they tested her in accuracy, speed, evasion, acrobatics, strength, and defense. In which they discovered a scythe would be the best for her to help compensate her weak defense. She chained to her wrist so she can throw it and retrieve it, spin it, and throw it to help her climb up buildings. While she was gone she learned how to control an individual tank and only that tank. So the group she was training with deemed her "Queen of The Dammed." To keep the tank from losing control she feeds it people who have attacked her and lost. She keeps the body parts cut up and in a chilled pack around her back. She still was unable to come up with a cure but one of the prototypes enabled her to be able to further teach the tank basic commands. She is not a scythe master so her scythe is dual bladed. When she felt she had learned enough she came back to the academy.

Misc: Is afraid of death, is afraid of losing people she cares for, tries to act like she doesn't care when in reality she's very concerned, isn't good at showing/expressing her emotions, and wears leather guards to avoid getting bit. Related to Mordecai. Has a tattoo on her back that's always covered by her shirt unless she's working in the lab in which she wears a halter top with an open back but a labcoat in place. The tattoo is of two angel wings colored green (her mom's favorite color) on the base of the back of her neck the date her squad/team was killed (October 19,2009) by the apocalypse and below the wings which is the center or just where her shirt generally covers the date her mother died( July 21, 2003). She got it in place of their memory. The symbolism behind it is that she hopes to gain the wings of angel by doing right to save lives and make a cure so she can join them, and as well as she's carrying their hopes and dreams on her back which is all she has (in her mind) is her ambition to make their dreams come true.
